That circle on the headrest is where we removed this crocheted head rest pad that was sewn to it. The original[?] fabric is actually pretty nice but it's very faded.

I bought this when I had a newborn baby. I now have 3 girls and another baby on the way. I can't tell you how well this chair has served our rocking needs. Cushman Colonial furniture is often for sale on ebay. Some in excellent condition, some normal wear, some badly worn, and some a lunatic has painted, and so on.
If you set up a saved search there, eventually what you want will show up.
We have this chair too, been in the family since 1960's. Arms are showing wear. Dad sat in this chair all the time "Grandpa's Chair" still comfortable has been recovered. Cushman classis. Pat M.
My parents had the rocker and the paddle arm chair since the 1960's or late 50's? I've recently recovered them and getting new cushions professionally made. I've seen these go for $1800 each.
